Sh00b is the third major candidate for the VE election to announce their joining of the New Vooperian Party. This adds to a total of three candidates: Sh00b, Tyco, and Pope. The candidates are working on economic reform that "uplifts the new and OG community equally" and will "balance government power and efficiency". The party, with over 5 campaign staffers and the endorsement of Emperor Spike, is expected to support more traditional Vooperian values along with being staunchly anti-monopoly. Based on info that Coca provided in the #general channel, TPB is the better bank for long term deposits. A few hours after the stock market’s buying and selling features broke, Emperor Spike announced an entire new overhaul of the stock trading system, upgrading it to make it more realistic. Spike says that this new system should take a couple of days to be integrated, however, nobody knows for sure. You may be asking what is in this new system. Well, according to Spike, the main thing this system will have is the ability to set a price for buying shares that isn’t the default price. This will also include needing the shareholders’ permission to issue more shares, which will definitely make buying shares much safer if you want to get invested in the stock market. In the stock overhaul announcement, Emperor Spike Viper announced that all investors will be given the current value of their stocks and that all public companies will have their balances set to 0. The Jam_Bam v. Pope Francis court case is kicking off today after multiple days of wait. The appeal for this case was first filed after Pope Francis supposedly changed an important part of the Prime Minister Voting Act without permission from the creator of the bill after a vote on a bill has begun. He was also supposedly only supposed to change the formatting on the bill, and not change the contents. Senator Pope Francis is now Prime Minister Pope Francis. He managed to beat out Senator Tyco, in order to become Prime Minister. Many, including us here at Pug News expected the election to be closer, however Pope got 9 votes compared to 5 votes for Tyco. The expected swing vote, Senator Danish, ended up voting for Pope. Along with Jambon and Coolio also unexpectedly voting for Pope. The result of this election was great news for some, and bleak news for others. It was looking grim for the Senator from New Yam's re-election efforts as he was trailing behind Squidface by 2 votes, however, Squidface surprisingly conceded the election. At the time, Squidface had 7 votes, and Senator Coca has 5. We have currently not gotten an official statement as to why the likely Senator conceded. We here at Pug News believe this may have been due to a combination of possibly running as a joke, and outside pressure. Squidface had put out multiple ads showcasing interest in using nukes, and invading the Vooperian Empire. We interpreted that as a joke. Squidface also faced outside pressure for being ahead of the popular Senator, and for having few messages. Today is 12/3 and it's a cool sunny day in Old Yam. #1 Transparency So, the MOJ is currently heavily involved in money, and since we are a government agency, I want people to have confidence in lack of corruption.
