Humans are born curious by nature. We like to know where we’re coming from, and we like to know when something is coming to us. Old yam is the result of this ignorance. Being obliterated by an asteroid, this district suffered major infrastructural damage. This can be prevented when we are capable of space travel. Adding a countermeasure in orbit, could assure us this will not happen again. Because there are significantly bigger rocks out there, which could threaten the existence of Vooperia if dealt with in the same fashion.
Where in Queensland would we have this program?
Kingsland county! We will place this space program in Kingsland county because Kingsland county is very close to the water so we can drop boosters (and you will) to get speed, you'll drop them over the sea so we have a controlled explosion not causing any damage to Kingsland county or even the whole of Queensland.
A space program is needed to financially skyrocket the Queensland economy. It definitely will protect us from incoming harm, if it ever were to come our way. The combination of the equatorial location, and the sea next to Kingsland county the best candidate for a space program.
